Your mission

  • Implementation of regional marketing and communication concepts and measures (print and digital) for the US in close coordination with the Head of Marketing (and the marketing team) at headquarters in Dortmund, Germany (online, social media and email marketing)
  • Coordination, planning, implementation, and successful monitoring of regional face-to-face and online events (conferences, exhibitions, seminars, workshops, user meetings)
  • Experience with event management – budget calculation and control.
  • Support and collaboration in text creation.
  • Creation of presentations
  • Data handling and Processing leads according to the lead management process.
  • Participation in (online) controlling / efficiency measurement.
  • Collaboration with external service providers
  • Planning and procurement of giveaways, printing of brochures and marketing communication materials

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of marketing / (corporate) communication / media or similar qualifications
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in marketing products in the B2B/industrial goods market
  • Experience in coordinating agencies, printing companies and service providers, in the conception and implementation of marketing projects.
  • Experience in exhibition organization and trade fair construction.
  • Sound PC knowledge (MS Office) and good knowledge of graphics programs.
  • Experience working with CMS systems and databases preferred (e.g. Sales Force, WordPress, Hootsuite)
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, implementation strength and creativity
  • Must be able to work independently and be goal oriented.
  • Comfortable working with images and text.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
