Corteva Agriscience has an opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager located at our Johnston, IA campus.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for execution of marketing plans for Pioneer soybeans supporting the Eastern Commercial Unit: Direct connection to area and district leaders, Tailor marketing support to local sales strategy, Lead variety level pricing detail, Leads tactical implementation within the area/district, Works closely with other seed product managers to develop a cohesive Pioneer tactical marketing plan.

What You’ll Do

  • Works closely with other seed product managers to develop a cohesive Pioneer tactical marketing plan.
  • Lead hybrid/variety level pricing detail.
  • Execution of marketing plans for a specific product line(s) within designated CU’s.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, agriculture or related field.

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Agriculture and seed industry background preferred.
  • 50% field travel, but can be higher during kickoff season.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills.
  • Strong business acumen with proven project management skills.
  • Very strong oral and written communication, planning and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated facilitation, coordination skills.
  • Must be able to work with people at all levels, including outside consultants and vendors, while influencing without formal authority.
  • Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Proven knowledge of seed business processes and key systems, or ability to gain this knowledge.
