Job Description

We are seeking a creative and analytical Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth.


In order to succeed, a candidate will demonstrate the ability to keep multiple projects on track, and collaborate across teams, including company leadership. The candidate should thrive in an environment that fosters independent thought and team collaboration. This role will work directly with the Senior Vice President of Marketing to execute projects across all marketing channels and mediums.

It is a full-time position in our Arlington, VA office.

This role may require up to 20% travel

Scope Of Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and events
  • Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape
  • Manage content for posting on the company’s website, blog, and social media platforms
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development, sales, and customer service, to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business objectives
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools and provide recommendations for optimization
  • Coordinate the production of marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and promotional items
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, trade shows, and webinarsStay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Reliable and responsive, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines for time-sensitive tasks.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing role
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics
  • Proven track record of dependability and follow-through on responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and social media analytics platforms
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with cross-functional team
