The Corporate and Brand Marketing Director will play a pivotal role in shaping, elevating and growing the GeneDx brand and business. This person is someone with a proven track record for strategic marketing and brand building, who can translate the needs of the business into creative and compelling marketing initiatives that helps to solidify GeneDx as an industry leader. This person will balance the ideation of long-term strategy and vision, with rolling up their sleeves to execute on short term business driving wins.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and agency stakeholders to lead the development and refinement of a cohesive brand identity that embodies the company’s mission and vision and creates brand love and loyalty.
  • Develop a strategic brand and corporate marketing plan, aligned with company objectives, that increases the awareness and influence of GeneDx.
  • Execute cohesive brand activation plans including brand advertising campaigns, always-on marketing activities and brand partnerships, driving a consistent experience across all audience touch points.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitors’ behaviors and activities to identify opportunities to position GeneDx as market leader
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure brand health and marketing effectiveness and continuously refine and improve branding strategies based on performance metrics and feedback

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in brand and/or corporate marketing client-side or agency experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Proven experience building brands and results-oriented marketing plans.
  • Expertise with brand fundamentals (architecture, identity, and competitive positioning)
  • Confident storytelling with the ability to exhibit executive presence and authentic engagement at all levels of the organization.
  • Comfort with co-creation processes and an understanding that great outcomes are made possible with strong partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment while adapting to a rapidly growing organization.

Pay Transparency, Budgeted Range

$185,000—$205,000 USD
