We are seeking a technical, results-oriented Associate Channel Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Electromechanical Solutions (EMS) group team in Phoenix, AZ. As the Associate Channel Marketing Manager for Wholesale Distribution, you will play a crucial role in helping drive the growth of the business while working collaboratively with product management, sales, marketing, training and engineering to delight our customers by acting as the single point of contact to help manage the needs of EMS’s many Wholesale partners. In this role your responsibilities will include maintaining and growing relationships with customers while leveraging data and market insights to measure the health and effectiveness of our go to market strategy.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

  • Work in collaboration with sales, product management, marketing, and training to support and manage the needs of our many Wholesale channel customers including recommending and prioritizing new business opportunities and product feature requests.
  • Regularly analyze channel program performance monthly/quarterly/annually as required to provide insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement. Required deliverables will include a monthly recap of the top Wholesale customers, 90-day forward looking outlook, training and marketing activities, and competitor activities.
  • Implement EMS’s Wholesale channel strategy in collaboration with sales, product management, and marketing teams including, but not limited to, facilitating and managing regular reoccurring business reviews with channel partners which includes sales results analysis & trends, demand planning, omnichannel marketing and training needs.
  • Regularly perform pricing and competitive analysis by customer within the Wholesale channel and recommended strategies to improve market position, quality and costs in collaboration with sales and product management teams.
  • Establish omnichannel marketing plans including collateral, tools and training materials to effectively promote and sell products by customer in coordination with sales, training, marketing and product management teams as required. Define and implement channel-specific marketing programs and initiatives to drive partner engagement, enablement, and lead generation. This will include, but not be limited to, product descriptions, applications, vertical markets, associated items, and KPI’s for measuring results. Provide guidance and support to channel partners to maintain brand consistency across all channel marketing materials and communications in accordance with ASSA ABLOY brand guidelines.
  • Develop educational programs as required in coordination with training, sales, product management and marketing teams. Identify needs for education related to product or category overview, system design or applications, upgrades, and conversions.
  • Support new product introduction and promotional activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including coordination of product beta and functional field test (FFT’s) sites. This includes working with sales and product management teams to identify potential test sites, coordination with engineering of field installations, and monitoring of product test sites and results.
  • Maintain a proficient working knowledge of industry trends and any major competitors, their key products, and potential services. Provide regular updates monthly or on request.
  • Conform with the organizations ISO 9001 & 14001 requirements
  • Travel is required, up to two weeks per month.

Education and/or Experience :

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in business, marketing or a related field from a four-year college or university preferred, MBA a plus. Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience in a related technical field and/or applicable experience in the field of access control integration; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
