Yogi and Choice Tea Brands / East West Tea Company is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Global Associate Brand Manager to join our Brand team.

 

The Associate Brand Manager works closely with the North America Brand Manager as a member of the Global Brand Management team and cross-functional groups to execute strategies and tactics to drive growth. The position will be reporting to the NABM and has no direct reports. The incumbent participates in regular Marketing, Sales & Trade Marketing meetings, as well as project and company update meetings.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN:

  • Work with Brand team and cross-functional teams to plan, execute and track brand and sales initiatives for North America – new product launches, sampling, sell sheets, packaging updates, ingredient transition, display shippers etc.
  • Contact point for Marketing cross-functional team updates regarding project status.
  • Support the team on NA product packaging projects from concept to press check, including but not limit to ingredient updates, new products, innovation. Leads press check process and feedback communication with the agencies.
  • Own allocation and processing of North America Brand team expenses in Concur
  • Support product development and assortment for DTC and external marketplaces
  • Own Salsify updates for packaging changes and communicates updates to cross-functional team.
  • Provides key messaging for A+ content and product content and does the final asset / copy approval
  • Submits any packaging/product/project for final Digital Commerce and eCommerce partner validation and approval
  • Complete regular/key business analyses using syndicated data and shipment data.
  • Deliver consumer insights through syndicated data and market trend analysis.
  • Support the product innovation process and ensures timely execution.
  • Support preparing and analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research programs for North America, e.g., IHUT, focus groups, consumer panels.
  • Preparation of presentations for Exec team and annual sales meetings.
  • Supports the development of stage gates.
  • Support Brand team in development and execution of the global Yogi & Choice Organics brand and product strategy, brand calendar, priorities, objectives, and budgets to build brand equity to translate into attaining volume goals, annual profit, and long-term profit growth.
  • Monitors trends and competitive landscape utilizing syndicated data to make recommendations for innovative new products/flavors/packaging formats.
  • Supports in-house development of campaign concepts and creative briefs.
  • Supports and collaborates with cross-functional team in the commercialization process ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Works in collaboration with R&D team to develop and commercialize new and exciting product ideas.
  • Works in collaboration with Global Marketing & Content teams to support new product launches, brand and product content, and marketing campaigns.
  • Works closely with external brand and product consultants/agencies as required.

WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED:

  • Bachelor, preferable master’s degree (Business studies or equivalent with Marketing focus)
  • At 3+ years relevant work experience, including brand responsibility
  • Preferred experience in CPG.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, product packaging development, project management and market research processes strongly preferred
  • Experience managing projects and timelines.
  • Experience in working with cross functional teams.
