LMCU is looking for a Marketing Manager that will work as a liaison between the marketing department and our internal business groups (“clients”), serving as the “voice” for the client. The Marketing Manager performs account service work and gains an in-depth understanding of the client’s business and marketing goals and objectives, their market and competitive challenges, and learn about their products and competition along with doing preliminary planning. Additionally, the Marketing Manager, reporting to the VP of Marketing, will assist in creating an annual marketing plan for each client, including a 12-month marketing calendar along with the appropriate tracking/measurement variables.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide planning work to create and help with the implementation of a 12-month annual marketing plan for each client.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the client’s business environment and goals by participating in meetings, conducting appropriate competitive research, working with client and staff (ex. going on calls with Loan Officers, meeting realtors and mortgage customers and prospects) and staying current on industry trends.
  • Become heavily involved in the CRM system and its capabilities to help manage the segmentation of member data to identify opportunities to grow our business. Identify member segments and life stages and the member segments with the greatest propensity (wants and needs) for particular products and services.
  • Conduct/participate in regular client meetings, providing ideas and suggestions on strategic initiatives, develop written call reports, and follow up on key marketing projects by working with marketing staff (art department, project manager, web designer, etc.) to ensure client marketing goals are achieved.
  • Manage the tracking and evaluation (ROI) for various marketing projects, make recommendations for improvement and provide analysis and reporting (analytics) based on the outcome versus goal.
  • Organize research, primary and secondary, and organize the findings in a written report and communicating relevant finds to the client and marketing staff.
  • Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner by working with marketing staff and clients and communicating status to all relevant parties.

What You’ll Bring: You’ll like this position if you have…

  • Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience, in a marketing role.
  • A bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or business. Master’s degree in communication or MBA, preferred but not required.
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Work and CRM (Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Proficient at problem solving.
  • Excellent analytical and math skills – calculations, forecasts and budgeting.
