As a Marketing Lead at envelio, you will have the unique opportunity to establish and grow our marketing function for the North American market. As an early team member, this role is key in shaping the future of our brand, product, and growth marketing strategy. You’ll be working with the executive team to drive envelio’s go-to-market.

 

This role comes with a lot of freedom and responsibility. You’ll have the opportunity to build from the ground up and take ideas from concept to reality. This includes building and leading a focused Marketing team that can execute and drive our growth strategy.

 

Team collaborations will take place in our Back Bay Boston office and some travel will be required to support customer meetings and industry events. Preference for hire to be located in greater Boston area, but remote is also acceptable.

 

What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to fuel both short- and long-term growth.
  • Establish and build the Marketing function covering the areas Brand, Product, and Growth.
  • Define, articulate, and execute brand positioning tailored to the North American market and ensuring consistency across all channels.
  • Develop our product marketing to effectively communicate technical concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with our audience.
  • Drive growth marketing through organic, paid, and offline channels to create high-quality leads.
  • Develop high-quality sales collateral such as sales presentations, case studies, and talking points that clearly communicate the value of our products.
  • Leverage digital marketing and research to test and validate growth hypotheses.
  • Build and coordinate our network of external partners such as PR firms, customers, and content provider.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams such as Sales, Customer Success, and the Marketing team in our European HQ.

What you need

  • At least 5+ years experience in Marketing preferably in a software and/or start-up setting.
  • Proven experience of building digital marketing programs from scrappy pilots to scaled teams.
  • Strong communicator, able to effectively articulate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on mentality, with the ability to execute day-to-day tasks, seamlessly transitioning from strategic to operational execution.
  • Interested and passionate about the utility and energy industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
