Leveraging the power of user-permissioned data, SteadyIQ works with government agencies across the country to streamline benefit applications, reduce administrative burden, and prevent fraud.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and rockstar marketer who can expand SteadyIQ’s flagship income verification solution, Income Passport, within the public sector (business-to-government, B2G). Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will help us capitalize on an $11B TAM which is ripe for disruption.


As our first dedicated marketing hire, you will work intimately with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute our marketing strategy with the end goal of driving logo accumulation and ARR. You will coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously. Keys to your and our success include a “doer” attitude.

You will leverage our early adopter government contracts, success metrics and momentum to rinse and repeat- at scale. You will use excellent communication skills, brand development, articulation of value proposition and storytelling to amplify our brand and help drive sales in a nimble start-up environment.

As the Marketing Director, you will:

  • Develop and execute our marketing plan for our B2G customer segment.
  • Evaluate and hone our value proposition, including ROI benefits to the customer
  • Amplify brand awareness and credibility by working with internal/external stakeholders to:
  • Develop thought-leadership content via SMEs (case studies, white papers, blogs, webinars, event speaking, op-eds, etc)
  • Research and measure effectiveness of content distribution channels (industry events, publications, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Implement effective and efficient marketing campaigns that accurately position and describe our solutions and are intuitive and compelling for our target audiences.
  • Manage all facets of industry events/conferences (pre, during, post) with goal of generating high-quality sales leads, which includes but is not limited to:
  • Email and social media campaigns
  • Conference attendee list management
  • Planning / hosting events & meet-ups
  • Creating booth design and collateral
  • Curating lists in CRM
  • Leverage CRM (Hubspot) proficiently to execute and measure campaigns efficacy
  • Enhance sales enablement/collateral tools
  • Refresh copy and design for all sales collateral (one-sheets, presentations, infographics, videos, proposals, etc.)
  • Revamp website with new brand positioning and clarity around our value proposition and solution
  • Manage external marketing consultants and industry association events’ managers (i.e. design agency, trade associations, etc.)

Skills & Requirements

  • 7+ years of general marketing experience with cross-functional responsibility including brand development, demand generation, content/thought leadership, events coordination, etc.
  • B2B/B2G data and/or SaaS experience required
  • Preferred experience with startup or early-stage growth companies (less than 50 people)
  • Entrepreneurial, Builder and Rocket-ship GTM mindset
  • Strong collaboration with company stakeholders in sales, customer service, product, strategy, technology and finance
  • Effective use of CRMs, like Hubspot
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with strong preference for Communication/Marketing.

Total Compensation Package

  • The base salary range for this position is $125,000 – $150,000.
  • This position is eligible for equity.
