Job Description Summary
Senior Director Content Marketing leads the development and implementation of content on websites and social media. Coordinates and integrates the work of writers and designers to help produce a final layout compatible with corporate standards along with writing blogs, social media posts, and other written materials. They produce and edit website material to maintain and improve the quality of information provided. They may be expected to have knowledge of HTML, CSS, and are expected to have a thorough knowledge of on-site SEO best practices. This position typically requires a bachelor’s degree, and reports to the VP of Marketing & Communications.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- Responsible for developing and implementing the overall content strategy based on iTrip’s specific goals and objectives.
- Creates content each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness. Examples include blog posts, e-newsletters, videos, ebook, press releases, and graphics for social media.
- Develops and creates various types of content for iTrip franchisees such as professional letters, postcards, and ads for magazines and online publications.
- Manage and upload articles on blog.itrip.net to ensure content quality and SEO best practices.
- Edits and proofreads copy from third-party providers for correct grammar, punctuation and brand guidelines.
- Assists new franchisees with content at start-up phase, including photo selection, website copy, microsite population and press releases.
- Grow follower base by creating and posting content on iTrip corporate’s Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin and Twitter accounts. Knows which platform different kinds of content best perform.
- Pulls monthly performance reports for social media accounts and adjusts strategies based on metrics.
- Ensures iTrip franchisees follow brand guidelines in external communications.
Qualifications

- General knowledge on building websites with WordPress
- General knowledge of website software deployment
