At SEON, we are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to our customers, and product marketing plays a crucial role in shaping our strategy and driving growth. As the Director of Product Marketing, reporting to the SVP of Marketing, you will lead the product marketing and lifecycle marketing functions, focusing on product and market strategy, launches, strategic positioning, and customer engagement throughout the product lifecycle for SEON’s leading fraud solution in a fast-growing market. You will be at the forefront of our mission to revolutionize the fraud and fincrime prevention industry.
This is a hybrid role based at our Austin, TX office ( 3 days a week in the office), with occasional travel to our offices in Budapest and London
What You’ll Do:
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, manage, and develop the product marketing and lifecycle team. Assess and bridge skill gaps, enabling the team to operate independently and successfully in key pillars of product marketing and lifecycle marketing
- Strategic Marketing Leadership: Identify and deliver priority projects across product marketing and lifecycle marketing, ensuring they are completed with high quality and on schedule, leaning on available wider team resources effectively. Oversee the product marketing budget planning and management, ensuring efficient allocation and spending
- Product Launches: Drive assessment and readiness for Tier 1 product launches, leading cross-functional teams and developing a repeatable and impactful launch process across all phases of planning, execution and post-launch follow-up
- Lifecycle Marketing: Lead the lifecycle team and work with the account management function in developing strategies for customer engagement and retention throughout the product lifecycle: onboarding, adoption, retention, and upsell/cross-sell strategies
- Operational Excellence: Develop processes and playbooks to enable the product marketing and lifecycle marketing teams and efforts to scale
- Product Strategy: Partner closely with the product team to research and assess product direction and development of new features aligned to TAM and revenue opportunities
- Customer Insights: Identifying and harnessing the power of our customer successes and their stories by developing a repeatable process of gathering and managing insights, conducting customer interviews related to use cases, personas, and maturity models to inform product and GTM strategy
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of competitor analysis across key verticals and regions. Using these to drive sales enablement and assist with competitive Web and related content
- Marketing Enablement: Elevate product and industry knowledge into the broader marketing team. Assist in reviewing campaign briefs and marketing campaigns. Assist the digital team’s website efforts in creating and delivering high-quality web pages that resonate with ICPs.
- New Markets Research: Research and identify new or emerging market opportunities for priority or new verticals
- Thought Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team to define and execute thought leadership content and points of view, including annual surveys and key content projects. Lead on speaking panel topics, and webinar content, occasionally participating in speaking engagements and hosting webinars, round tables or customer events
- Win-Loss Analysis: Establish a repeatable system for win-loss analysis and develop insights to share with GTM, product, and wider teams
- Analyst Relations: Collaborate with marketing communications in creating and executing a successful AR strategy to foster strong analyst relationships through a regular cadence of inquiries and briefings for a focused set of analysts
What You Bring:
- 7+ years of proven experience in product marketing within a B2B SaaS environment in a leadership role
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of managing product marketing teams and projects while prioritizing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in market analysis, GTM strategy development, and competitive intelligence
- Management experience with multiple direct reports of senior product marketing managers and lifecycle marketers
- Deliver on and support marketing and revenue-aligned OKRs
- Proficient in HubSpot
