Job Summary

 

This professional will be responsible for product management, product positioning, market strategy, product planning and line up, pricing and channel management, customer relationships, forecasting and key metrics attainment.

 

We are looking for a talent who is interested in bringing new, innovative, and competitive product to market under our brands towards a leading market share position. This person will work closely with our global and local R&D center, consumer and market insights, brand marketing and factory teams to build products from concept to end of life as well as managing the existing portfolio across retail and e-commerce.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve targeted revenues, price, and quantity, managing expense ratios and product mix while maintaining healthy inventory levels
  • Act as the segment expert and knowledge source of industry trends, regulatory issues, competition moves, pricing and other marketing intelligence/analysis; analyze and share consumer and buyer insights and market requirements.
  • Develop the business plan for the category; execute USA specific category strategies and plans. Identify cross-departmental process improvements relevant to the category.
  • Lead product planning across the matrix with R&D, design and quality; scope opportunities for potential New Product Development (NPD); develop local line-up logic, product positioning, and price strategies in partnership with global PM and PP teams
  • Lead the new product launch process, driving the brief and execution with marketing communications and retailer/ distributor activation, ensure readiness to launch all supporting assets, including digital, prepare product material to support the field training teams
  • Support Key Account Managers in product sell- in, assist in developing channel and flooring strategy for new product launches; prepare for product line reviews; support sales reps and distributors in professional channels
  • Manage product lifecycle by driving sell thru, managing promotion budget, aligning PSI forecasts, and managing end of life and transition
  • Own category product marketing for sales and distributor teams with technical information; support launch efforts for future product plans
  • Coordinate with HQ the necessary requirements for US market

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or related discipline.
  • 5 years in Product Marketing in Home appliance or consumer electronics industry.
  • Home Appliances industry experience is preferred
