Job Summary:
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be the driving force behind go-to-market strategies across our diverse range of brands and expert-driven products. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in positioning our offerings to ensure market success. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and cross-team collaboration to execute campaigns that drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive product awareness, adoption, and revenue growth across both brand and expert-driven products, ensuring alignment with business metrics and objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and market opportunities, particularly within marketplace environments to inform the evolution of personas & products.
- Collaborate with product management to understand product features, benefits, and target audiences. Develop compelling product messaging and positioning that clearly communicates the value proposition to target audiences.
- Campaign Development & Execution
- Craft engaging marketing content, including brand-facing collateral and expert-facing messages, that resonates with diverse audiences and drives business impact.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, and events, to drive customer engagement and product adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, eCommerce, product, design, and marketing) to ensure alignment and execute go-to-market strategies effectively.
- Enablement & Collaboration
- Partner with the sales team to provide training, develop sales tools, and ensure alignment with product messaging to support the sales process.
- Support product launches by coordinating cross-functional activities and delivering necessary product information to internal teams.
- Performance & Analysis
- Monitor and analyze key metrics such as adoption rates, customer engagement, and revenue performance to assess the success of product marketing initiatives.
- Provide actionable insights based on data to optimize campaigns and marketing strategies.
- Design and launch A/B tests to evaluate different marketing strategies, messaging, and creative approaches, using the results to inform decision-making and enhance campaign performance.
- Develop research surveys, analyze results, and implement necessary improvements to enhance customer experiences and product offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, a bonus for relevant industries like ecommerce or marketplaces
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation, and digital marketing platforms. Bonus points for experience with JIRA, Braze, or Pendo.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The Benefits of Being on the ExpertVoice Team:
- Compensation range of $85,000 to $110,000 annually plus participation in the Company performance bonus plan.
