As a Marketing Specialist within PNC’s Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) marketing organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

As a Marketing Specialist, you will be a part of the Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) Marketing team, helping to support business segments within C&IB. C&IB, itself, is an organization of more than 4,500 professionals who focus on delivering PNC’s sophisticated product and service capabilities to corporations and a wide array of institutional entities around the country. You will be based in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in One PNC Plaza at 249 Fifth Avenue. Your responsibilities include supporting the execution of marketing plans, projects and/or programs that have been developed by leaders on the C&IB Marketing team.

This Includes

  • assisting with developing sales and marketing collateral, including ushering content through creative services and legal and compliance review process;
  • assisting with marketing deliverables needed to support events and webinars
  • assisting with the development and maintenance of direct mail and email programs; updating marketing metrics to measure effectiveness of marketing tactics;
  • helping to maintain/update PNC’s online presence;
  • compiling internal communications/assist managing marketing mailbox;
  • becoming proficient in the use of several online tools used to manage/track marketing projects and initiatives;
  • invoice processing and other ad hoc requests as defined by manager/sr. C&IB marketing leadership team

Within the day, there will be a variety of marketing activities/projects to work on, with a fast pace set by business priorities, market activity and demands from internal business partners and service partners. In your role, you will draw upon your ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure; work collaboratively with a variety of individuals and/or teams; demonstrate a high level of energy, strong sense of urgency and high quality work standards. Your time management, as well as your communication skills and attention to detail will be vital. You will be expected to become familiar with business segment strategies, products and services. As a PNC Marketing Specialist, located in Pittsburgh, you will join a dynamic team of creative professionals supporting PNC’s business-to-business marketing efforts.

Job Description

  • Under direct supervision, assists in the coordination of basic marketing program execution.
  • Develops a strong understanding of existing marketing strategies and ability to implement established programs/initiatives.
  • Assists in the coordination and execution of marketing programs/initiatives, strategies and activities that may include advertising, sales content and internal communications. Assists in data collection and synthesis in order to identify trends.
  • Ensures all operating activities are delivered within the established budget framework.
  • Follows established processes and protocols including coordination with legal, compliance, finance, risk and other key partners. Partners with agencies, third parties and internal business partners to coordinate development and execution of programs/initiatives.
