The opportunity
Altruist is in the midst of an exceptional growth phase and we’re excited to hire an Account Based Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team and lead the design and execution of our ABX strategy. This cross-functional role will be instrumental in developing a comprehensive ABX playbook with orchestrated plays executed across GTM teams that resonate with high-value accounts, driving deeper engagement, accelerating pipeline, and increasing revenue.
Your impact
- Design a comprehensive ABX strategy that aligns with the company’s revenue goals and target account segments.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for ABX initiatives.
- Partner with sales, operations, and analytics teams to identify and prioritize high-value target accounts based on data, product-market fit, and revenue potential.
- Segment accounts and develop tailored strategies for different tiers (e.g., one-to-one, one-to-few, one-to-many).
- Work closely with cross-channel marketing partners to create and execute highly personalized, multi-channel campaigns, including email, direct mail, digital ads, events, and content.
- Develop compelling messaging and assets tailored to the unique needs and challenges of key segments, personas, and accounts.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure ABX initiatives are aligned with account planning and sales strategies.
- Work closely with sales enablement to create materials, including account insights, messaging frameworks, and playbooks.
- Leverage ABX tools and platforms to orchestrate campaigns, track engagement, and measure impact.
- Ensure accurate reporting and data hygiene in marketing and CRM systems.
- Monitor the performance of ABX initiatives, analyze campaign data, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Present regular updates to key stakeholders, showcasing ROI and impact on pipeline and revenue.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging ABX techniques.
- Establish and document ABX best practices, processes, and frameworks to scale the program effectively.
What You Bring
- Experience
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to ABX programs.
- Proven success in implementing and scaling ABM strategies in a SaaS environment, preferably within fintech or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing alignment principles and experience working closely with sales teams to achieve shared goals. Sales enablement experience is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and experience measuring ABX performance and ROI.
- Education – Ideally looking for a B.A. / B.S. degree in relevant fields such as marketing, business, or a related field
- Technical aptitude – You’re technologically savvy and have deep knowledge of ABM tools and platforms (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase, Terminus, HubSpot, Salesforce).

Los Angeles, CA salary range
$124,000—$170,000 USD

Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs). A salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, internal pay equity, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
