As the Assistant Director of Marketing & Fan Experience, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing marketing responsibilities for 24 varsity sports at the University of Nebraska Athletic Department. This position involves serving as the primary marketing contact with supervision and management of all marketing and fan experience efforts and initiatives for Women’s Basketball, Softball, and other sports to be determined. Additionally, you will have a role in Football marketing and will oversee the Nebraska Athletics Kids Club.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, sports management, or related field.
  • 1 year of full-time sports marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of computer design programs, including Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of athletic marketing, promotions, and ticket sales.
  • Experience in in-game management and efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Sports marketing specific experience in a Power 5 collegiate athletic department.
  • Women’s Basketball, Softball scripting and production experience and/or experience with a Kids Club.

Posted Salary: $40,000 per year minimum
