In this role, you will serve as the integral part within PAE’s Communications department, reporting to the Director of Communications and Alumni Annual Giving and Engagement.
In This Role, You Will
- Assume leadership role as the social media subject matter expert for the Division of Philanthropic & Alumni Engagement (PAE) communications
- Oversee the day-to-day management of existing social media accounts
- Create content for various social media platforms and ensure its alignment with University objectives and strategic priorities
- Pursue methods to increase followership and engagement
- Utilize data and analytics in assessing the effectiveness of marketing and communication initiatives while also setting benchmarks for success
- Develop effective relationships to identify relevant coverage areas
- Assist teammates with alumni engagement and fundraising needs for large-scale campus-wide traditions including Homecoming, Lantern Night and Pitt Day of Giving
Essential Functions
- Knowledge of social media subject matter and all prominent platforms.
- Writing and video skills as well as editing knowledge in both mediums.
- Experience with data and analytics for social media platforms
