Sega of America is seeking an Associate Product Marketing Manager who is enthusiastic about games and players, with a strong interest in connecting both through world-class marketing.
Reporting to the Associate Product Marketing Director, this role will support and champion the video game vision and innovative marketing campaigns for products developed by Creative Assembly & Two Point Studios. As Associate Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for thoughtful marketing activations, supporting campaign plans in NASA, and collaborating closely with studio teams and cross-functional departments across the Publishing organization to drive day-to-day execution
Duties And Responsibilities
- Strong organization with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Support product marketing tactics and execution for the product’s entire lifecycle.
- Execute on consumer product, digital and physical retail, and first-party partnership opportunities.
- Align with cross-functional and international teams to deliver integrated marketing activations.
- Support best-in-class production of creative advertising and product assets by working with internal departments and external vendors as required.
- Manage product marketing approval process across creative services, business, legal,and accounting.
- General understanding of the traditional media and influencer landscape, and demonstrate knowledge of memorable creative campaigns.
- Collaborate with media agencies, creative agencies, event agencies, and promotional partnerships alongside respective cross-functional teams.
- Build relationships across the organization to provide key players and marketing insights, enabling them to continue improving marketing activations.
- Maintain and track marketing budgets with oversight from Associate Product Marketing Director, including budget reconciliation, invoice processing, and budget tracking to ensure accuracy of fiscal year spend.

- Working in-office is an essential function of this position. This requirement of face-to-face interaction is in place to ensure effective supervision, collaboration, and teamwork. In-office attendance is required for the following reasons:
- For effective supervision of employees and our work product, which includes ensuring all employees have necessary oversight of their work and access to supervisory assistance, which includes meetings to review work product, deadlines, and status.
- To foster communication and collaboration among team members, which includes the following: allowing for spontaneous brainstorming sessions and exchanges of ideas, quick access to team members to enable collaborative problem-solving, and stronger cohesion among co-workers and within teams.
- To enhance the sharing of information necessary to effective job performance and product creation.
- To enhance understanding of our stakeholders’ work and business needs, facilitate a more seamless and organic workflow, and ultimately increase efficiency and successful outcomes.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2+ years’ experience in a marketing role within gaming, entertainment, or consumer products.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the field.
- Ability to support initiatives with a focus on KPI / ROI metrics.
- Experience in project management, with demonstrated ability to work well with multiple teams.
- Open to flexible hours while working with overseas teams (primarily, EU time zones).
- Effective oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Positive, professional, and flexible attitude.
- Must be able to commute to work in the Irvine offices on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.
Preferred Skills
- An active gamer with knowledge of the current gaming landscape.
- Knowledge and interest in SEGA games, specifically Total War & other RTS / sim games.
- Interest and experience in strategy games and franchises.
- Experience working with UK / European gaming studios.
- Ability to identify and analyze marketing trends and apply data to produce fact-driven recommendations.
