The Family of Apps (FoA), Consumer and Creator Marketing organization is comprised of marketing teams for Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Threads that focus on driving brand preference and growth with both the consumer and creator audiences.

The team is looking for an experienced marketer to drive cross-portfolio marketing programs that enable us to achieve our north star vision of being the most preferred and used brands in our respective categories. This person will be responsible for leading, driving, and supporting large scale initiatives that are priorities across multiple apps and surfaces, examples include things like product go-to-markets across multi-apps, cross app consumer moments and partnerships as well ensuring that the governance and operations of our brands are executed flawlessly.

Brand Marketing Manager, Cross-Family of Apps Responsibilities:

  • Lead multi-app marketing initiatives working with the app team to deliver impactful marketing efforts that leverage the full scale of the portfolio
  • Lead large scale cross-app got-to-market initiatives (e.g. parents, teen accounts, AI studio etc) partnering with respective app and central team e.g. Product, Product Marketing, Public Affairs Marketing, Data Science, Product Growth etc. for each individual app
  • Lead large scale cross-app, portfolio moments, partnerships and sponsorships in close collaboration with Partnerships, Business Development, etc
  • Lead and support operations efforts across the Family of Apps portfolio
  • Ensure brand design continues to evolve with our brand positioning and our brand value is delivered effectively through licensing and third parties
  • Steward confidential and time-sensitive brand programs in partnership with brand strategy, product marketing, communications and trademark teams
  • Leverage data and analysis to enhance development and implementation of brand strategies and design systems
  • Manage internal rhythms of business programs and processes that help the Family of Apps Consumer and Creator marketing organization operate in a more effective and efficient manner

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of work experience across a combination of brand marketing, product marketing, strategy, operations, partnerships or a similar field
  • Experience with highly collaborative projects, demonstrated business acumen, and detail oriented with an operational skillset
  • Experience operationalizing complex, cross-functional, full funnel marketing plans, brand guidelines or other comparable / equivalent bodies of work
  • Experience in working closely with consumer brands and marketing programs that successfully resonate with the target audience – understanding the need, importance of targeted marketing efforts and has track record of persuading internal stakeholders and launching meaningful efforts that drive business impact
  • Strategic rigor and business acumen, fluent in landing both strategy articulation and high impact marketing
  • Experience leveraging data and analysis to enhance development and implementation of brand strategies and design systems
  • Thrives in ambiguity, change, and high pace, driving progress effectively in such an environment
  • Communication and presentation skills that can be adapted for audiences at all knowledge and levels across the organization
  • Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple projects with autonomy
  • Experience identifying and implementing 0→ 1 solutions across a matrixed organization and optimize existing systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the technology industry whether directly or via advisory work
  • Experience in marketing operations, brand governance and/or brand management
  • Experience with contract negotiation and partnerships

$122,000/year to $176,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
