As a Brand Manager, you will be responsible for managing, and marketing the Capital Group brand, globally, to drive business growth and enhance the company’s reputation. This role operates as the bridge between our business strategy, brand vision and marketing initiatives, helping to ensure a cohesive brand experience across all audiences.
The ideal candidate has a foundation in B2B brand development, management and integrated marketing strategy. You are data-driven, strategic, and experienced in solving problems through creative and innovative solutions. You use cultural curiosity, analytical rigor, and deep understanding of audience insights to drive effective work that’s distinctive. You have a high level of project management expertise. You are an expert communicator and able to manage highly collaborative and cross-functional work, ensuring outcomes are tied to business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leads the execution of brand-building communications and campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams on marketing efforts to ensure a unified brand experience for audiences by ensuring consistency, and synergy across all marketing efforts.
- Responsible for the company’s brand identity, including visual and verbal brand guidelines, messaging, and tone of voice.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and tactics, providing a competitor context.
- Manage external agencies and vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality brand assets and campaigns.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the company’s brand to internal and external stakeholders, building relationships with our country marketing leads across the world.

- You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Marketing or Business-related field and 8+ years of marketing strategy and execution within a medium to large corporation in financial services, ideally asset management or wealth, but other services experience e.g. Healthcare or professional services and/or related fields will serve you well.
- You have a track record of developing insights-driven marketing plans that contribute to delivery of business outcomes.
- You have a highly collaborative mindset, with a passion for bringing a story to life across channels.
- Ability to work calmly within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
- An enthusiastic strategic and creative thinker who can ideate big, but strong in execution to get the work done.
Southern California Base Salary Range $148,045-$236,872
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
