Kari Traa has experienced tremendous growth, and we need your multi-channel marketing expertise and talent for building premium brands! You will be responsible for bringing the Kari Traa brand mission to life in North America – owning the relationship with consumers and activating the brand strategy. You are a seasoned marketing professional with at least 7 years of brand marketing experience, a couple of years leading a team, and a deep understanding of multichannel brand retail. You are a passionate marketer and community builder who lives and breathes the world of outdoor sports. This is a highly collaborative role on-site at our Broomfield, CO office. What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and executing key marketing stories across the North American marketplace, bringing our mission to life
- Partnering closely with sales and e-commerce to ensure the right product stories are in the most impactful channels
- Working with key retail partners and sales team to grow the business in our trade channel, leveraging the retail voice to spread the Kari Traa message and expand our community
- Partnering with e-commerce, global teams, and external agencies to execute best-in-class digital marketing plans that drive business growth
- Building relationships with influencers, athletes, and key accounts driving our brand campaigns to build awareness, commercial success, and activate our key brand campaigns
- Managing the PR agency and its activities in the North American market
- Providing market and competitive brand updates to key stakeholders and the Head Office
- Participating in trade shows and events – traveling up to 25% as needed
- Advocating for the Kari Traa mission as an ambassador – living in full color!
What you’ll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing and 7+ years of industry marketing experience – outdoor soft goods or premium women’s brands will catch our attention
- 2+ years in a leadership role supporting, developing, and shaping a best-in-class team
- Demonstrated experience driving significant growth through multi-channel optimizing
- Experience developing and driving marketing strategies that increased e-commerce offerings and retail proposition
- Hands-on experience working with retail partners, key influencers, and trade channels to build brand awareness
- Confident, energetic and results-oriented – you are a logical thinker and an accomplished problem solver
- Organized, systematic thinker and demonstrated capacity to handle a variety of competing tasks at any one time
- Articulate, competent communication style – skills in other languages are a bonus
- Ability to collaborate in a lean, high-growth environment working cross-functionally with diverse communities across different time zones
- Passion for the outdoors, building brands, and connecting with people!
