Primary Function
The Brand Marketing Team shapes how audiences perceive A. O. Smith and our family of North American water heating brands. This includes product launch marketing, advertising, public relations, social media, brand programs, and sponsorships. As a Marketing Specialist, you will support product launches, manage brand assets, and assist with PR, social media, customer loyalty programs, and sales enablement tools.
Key Responsibilities
Product Literature & Print Management: Manage the product literature portal and print inventory, ensuring availability of accurate, up-to-date materials.
Sales Enablement Support: Update and maintain sales enablement tools with brand assets, product details, and campaign content.
Customer Loyalty & Sponsorships: Assist with customer loyalty programs and sponsorships, including promotions, e-newsletters, and communications.
Public Relations & Social Media: Support PR and social media initiatives through content planning, coordination, and execution.
Product Launch Coordination: Participate in New Product Development (NPD) Teams, attend meetings, liaise between NPD and Marketing, and develop product copy and launch tools while ensuring brand standards.
Administrative Support: Manage purchasing card, process vendor invoices, and assist with occasional meeting or event planning.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related discipline.

3–5 years of relevant experience.

Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.

Creative, innovative, and detail-oriented.

Ability to proofread and quality-check work.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) a plus.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required.
