The Channel Marketing Manager – Ecommerce & D2C reports to the VP of Marketing and will create and execute high-impact marketing programs for ecommerce accounts such as Amazon, Home Depot, Acme, and Lowe’s, as well as D2C through baileigh.com, edwardsironworkers.com, and axiomprecision.com. This position is responsible for developing pricing and promotions, effectively launching new products, and supporting marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include analyzing and interpreting sales/profit, customer, consumer, and competitive data to support daily decision-making. This position is a key partner to the direct sales team, D2C website, and ecommerce accounts, helping drive significant growth.

 

Reporting out of the corporate office near Nashville, Tennessee (La Vergne), this position may be on-site, hybrid, or fully remote.

 

What You Will Do: Be a Critical Partner. Have a Voice. Lead.

  • Create and develop annual promotional plans for ecommerce accounts and D2C to drive incremental growth.
  • Manage multiple brands: Jet, Powermatic, Wilton, Baileigh, Edwards, and Axiom to drive profitable growth with ecommerce accounts and D2C websites.
  • Execute new product launches with the commercial team to drive growth and margin accretion.
  • Work directly with the brand team on customer program development from inception to delivery.
  • Collaborate with product teams to effectively launch new products that meet end-user needs.
  • Work closely with the direct sales team and ecommerce sales team to customize programs that drive significant business growth.
  • Create and drive marketing programs to meet strategic growth objectives and increase sales among key customers.
  • Support the Director of Ecommerce and VP of Direct Sales and Customer Experience in developing pricing strategies that maximize customer profitability, the company’s market share, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with projects including forecasting, budgeting, timelines, due dates, and communicating sales feedback.
  • Understand internal databases for PIM information, DAM, catalogs, etc., to meet the needs of key customers.
  • Understand current programs and proactively support and communicate any changes while maintaining programs in accordance with agreements. Coordinate with product teams to maintain accurate product data (e.g., images, features & benefits, pricing).
  • Monitor, track, and analyze the effectiveness of programs to support reporting, course corrections, and decision-making.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred, or a combination of work and education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales and marketing experience.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience working with internal and external sales teams.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Salesforce.
  • In-depth knowledge of customers and related D2C channels of trade.
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organization, time management, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and thoroughly, make decisions under pressure, and maintain tact in all situations.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills when working with internal management and customer meetings.
  • Exhibit good work habits and willingness to work extended hours to meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability to a challenging and developing environment, and willingness to take on new responsibilities as the business evolves.
