About The Role
We’re looking for a Content & Social Marketing Specialist to help shape and share Envoy’s point of view on the workplace. Reporting to the Content & Social Marketing Manager, you’ll think like a journalist—digging into research, interviewing subject matter experts, and uncovering the human angles that make stories compelling.
This role goes beyond blogs. You’ll create smart, engaging, and interactive content that helps our customers and prospects navigate complex workplace and security challenges – things like visitor policies, gate access, compliance requirements, and hybrid work setups. You won’t just answer questions – you’ll set the bar for what best-in-class looks like. Your work will not only fuel demand but also be strong enough for industry leaders to share and for our sales team to use in the field.
You’ll also bring a builder’s mindset: seeing every piece of content—no matter the medium—as a chance to elevate Envoy’s story. You lean in, pitch in, and approach every project as an opportunity to collaborate and make the work stronger. From drafting copy to jumping into Canva or Figma for light edits, you treat every task as a chance to raise the bar.
At the same time, you’ll elevate our brand across formats—LinkedIn carousels, Instagram Reels, video, blogs, email, and more. If you’re excited to test new ideas, push our POV further, and create content that builds real trust with a security- and compliance-minded audience, this is the role for you.
This is a hybrid position that requires 4 days a week (Monday – Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ.
You will
- Research, interview, and write stories that bring Envoy’s POV to life and position us as leaders in the workplace and security trends.
- Create smart, engaging, and interactive resources that help customers solve complex problems and that industry peers want to share.
- Develop content strong enough to double as sales enablement tools, helping our sales team educate and move buyers forward.
- Adapt content across formats: blogs, ebooks, interactive guides, social carousels, and short-form video.
- Film and sometimes lightly edit video content for platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram Reels.
- Build and maintain a content calendar that aligns with launches, campaigns, and company priorities.
- Use SEO best practices and keyword research to grow organic reach.
- Measure and report on performance—traffic, engagement, pipeline, and sales enablement impact.
- Collaborate with design, product marketing, and sales to ensure content is structured, polished, and on-brand.
- Experiment with new formats, tools, and distribution tactics to keep our strategy fresh.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of experience in content marketing, PR, social media, editorial, or journalism, with a portfolio that highlights your work.
- Excellent writing, editing, and interviewing skills.
- Experience creating B2B content with a clear, opinionated point of view.
- Comfortable producing native content for social platforms (carousels, Reels, short-form video), or willingness to experiment and learn.
- Willingness to experiment with AI tools to create efficiencies and elevate work, while always leading with human creativity and connection in storytelling.
- Data-oriented with a track record of driving measurable results.
- Strong collaborator with a builder’s mindset who thrives in cross-functional work.
Bonus points if you have
- A journalism or reporting background, or experience building thought-leadership for a growing B2B brand.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn strategy—from building thought leadership to creating native content like carousels and short-form video.
- Experience confidently managing communications in Jira and creating briefs/specs for design teams.
- Comfort with light editing in Canva, Figma, or similar tools.
Extra creative skills like light video editing, motion graphics, or turning data into visual stories.
You’ll get
- A high degree of trust in your ideas and execution
- An opportunity to partner and collaborate with other talented people
- An inclusive community where you feel welcomed and cared for as a person
- The ability to make an immediate impact helping customers create a great workplace experience
- Support for your personal and professional growth
Compensation Range: $94K – $105K
