Minerva University
Minerva University seeks a dynamic and experienced Content Marketing Manager to lead our content strategy and production efforts. The ideal candidate will drive engagement through innovative content across various channels.
Content Marketing Management (30%):
- Effectively writes, curates, edits, and produces timely and compelling content, in various formats (video, audio, web, email), to showcase Minerva to a diverse audience and drive enrollment goals.
- Creates, plans, and manages Minerva University’s content calendar across all channels, providing 365 days/year content that highlights student experience and achievements, academic programs, faculty expertise, institutional achievements, and more, with a focus on content that drives enrollment goals.
- Works with various leaders and student groups to gather accurate information and create new content for all marketing channels.
- Collaborates across the Marketing and Enrollment teams to find ways to utilize all created content
- Manage work study and student interns to design and create relevant and timely content to be used across all marketing channels.
- Manage external profiles on college search sites such as College Board and Niche
Social Media Management (30%):
- Manage social media platforms for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube and any new social media platforms that are relevant to Minerva University audiences. Management includes daily posting of social media content, following and adopting new trends, measuring success and adjusting as needed, and fielding comments/questions/reactions on posts.
- Design and implement a social media engagement strategy across channels with a focus on growing following and engagement levels on Minerva’s social media pages.
- Serve as primary manager of the social media management platform (Hootsuite) and monitor and report out on social media analytics to devise and execute performance improvement plans.
- Develop and execute a social media ambassador program that aims to drive enrollment goals and improve Minerva University understanding and awareness through unique content creation.
Paid Digital Marketing Management (starting Nov. 2024) (20%):
- Manage paid digital campaigns and budget through Google Adwords, Facebook, etc., to increase awareness, leads and applications.
- Monitor performance and spend daily, taking action to maximize ad performance.
- Adjust ad copy and landing pages to optimize campaign performance.
- Analyze data to scale campaigns to maximize ROI.
Marketing Operations (10%):
- Manages marketing collateral – working closely with Enrollment and leadership to create, maintain, and organize updated marketing collateral catalog for use across teams.
- Manage website content and updates for enrollment pages and blog.
- Assist with the implementation and management of new Slate CRM such as building emails, pulling lists, setting up events, etc. on an as needed basis
- Provide organizational support in planning and executing key marketing enrollment events such as virtual open-house and admitted student events
Enrollment Support (10%)
- Represent Minerva University at key events in home region or online. Events include recruitment fairs, yield events, and online open house and admitted student events.
Compensation
$55,000-$65,000
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in content marketing or related field.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful content strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with content performance tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience managing a team of content professionals.
- Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing best practices.
