The Role

Ironpaper is looking for a motivated content specialist to create engaging content for B2B industries like energy, software, and manufacturing. This role combines creative thinking, strategic content mapping, and the use of AI tools to create impactful content that drives business results and supports client goals.

The Day-to-Day

Content Mapping + Strategy:

  • Define what content is needed to ensure business objectives are met by working with clients and internal teams to create strategic content plans.

Content Creation + AI-Enhanced Research & SEO:

  • Create buyer pain point-focused content that supports lead qualification and generation. This activity may include keyword research, writing, desk research, interviews, and more, leveraging AI when appropriate.

Content Performance + Optimization:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to monitor content performance, optimize content using AI tools, and identify underperforming pieces to improve.

Full-Pipeline Content + Buyer Engagement:

  • Produce engaging content that demonstrates the clients’ expertise and articulate strategies that ensure content moves buyers through the sales pipeline.

Content Ideas + Insights:

  • Pitch innovative content ideas with a strategic rationale, using data-driven insights to back up your recommendations. Understand the performance of content assets and share actionable insights with clients to guide future strategies.

Industry Insights + Strategic Collaboration:

  • Keep internal teams up to date on industry trends through SME interviews, industry publications, and newsletters. Collaborate with clients to translate business strategies into content, ensuring alignment with long-term goals and industry trends.

About You:

  • Experience working in an agency or writing for industries like Technology, Energy, Manufacturing, B2B Healthcare, Aerospace, or Logistics/Supply Chain.
  • A portfolio showing professional work on business or technology topics.
  • Strong conceptual thinking to see how content fits into bigger marketing and business goals.
  • Comfort with technology and AI to help with research, content creation, and data-based strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex topics in an understandable way.
  • Action-oriented and willing to find ways to improve content performance.
  • Must be able to work full-time remotely within the US (excluding California) from 9 am to 6 pm EST.
  • Critical thinking to analyze industry trends and turn them into great content ideas.
  • Must be a kind and driven individual who is passionate about their work.
  • Strong presentation, communication, writing, editing, and research skills.
  • Strong understanding of technology, digital, and business subjects.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment and digitally engaging clients/colleagues
  • Extra credit for experience working in Hubspot
