Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Copywriter to join our team. The position will craft compelling insights into Urschel manufacturing – engaging, error-free content that communicates our brand story, connects with our audience, and drives business results. The position is NOT remote and will be required to report daily to the Corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana.
- Write clear, error-free, and engaging copy for marketing materials, including websites, emails, social media, brochures, product descriptions, PowerPoint sales presentations, and advertisements.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create messaging that aligns with brand guidelines and supports business objectives.
- Edit and proofread materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to tone and style.
- Maintain and organize an Excel database of detailed information related to Urschel and Urschel machinery to enable tracking and updating of text across communication platforms.
- Work to develop SEO-friendly content to improve visibility on search engines and contribute to the overall digital marketing strategy.
- Assist in developing and designing sales and company presentations, proposals, and other internal and external communications.

Qualified candidates must have 2-3 yrs. relevant experience; bachelor’s degree in communications, English, or a related field; Outstanding written and oral communication skills; Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for staying ahead of digital marketing trends; Mac Platform; Adept at Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Knowledge related to Adobe Suite including InDesign and Acrobat.
