My Code is a media and marketing company that elevates diverse voices and empowers brands to build lasting relationships with Hispanic, Black, AANHPI, and LGBTQIA+ communities. We deliver culturally-driven and innovative marketing campaigns to help brands reach diverse audiences working with clients including: Google, Starbucks, Home Depot, General Motors and Best Buy.
Our portfolio of owned-and-operated media brands include properties such as Remezcla, one of the most influential digital media brands for the Latine community, El Diario, the U.S.’s oldest Spanish-language newspaper, and HipLatina, dedicated to highlighting the diversity of the U.S. Latina experience.

About the Role
We are seeking a talented and strategic Copywriter to join our team and help execute our ambitious 2025 marketing strategy. This role will play a key part in positioning My Code as the leading B2B partner for brands aiming to authentically connect with diverse audiences. The Copywriter will be instrumental in crafting compelling, insights-driven content that strengthens our brand’s thought leadership and supports our core marketing strategies. This a temporary position and is projected to be 3 months in length with opportunity to extend.
Responsibilities:
Content Development
- Write and edit high-quality content for various formats, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, video scripts, brochures, and social media.
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce a flagship new series.
- Develop thought leadership articles and resources that highlight My Code’s expertise in inclusive marketing, programmatic advertising, CTV, and integrated media solutions.
Event and Campaign Support
- Create tailored messaging for key tentpole events (CES, Cannes Lions, AdColor, and ANA’s Masters of Marketing).
- Develop content to amplify My Code’s presence at market activations in NYC, Chicago, LA, Miami, and Atlanta.
- Craft speeches, panel discussion points, and workshop content for CMO-level engagements and industry events.
Sales Enablement Content
- Write and optimize sales resources, including presentations, one-pagers, and training materials.
- RFP Support: Customizing messaging to fit client goals.
- Assist in creating case studies, industry spotlights, and vertical-specific materials to empower the sales team.
- Partner with marketing and research teams to translate data insights into actionable and persuasive narratives.
Collaboration and Strategy
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align messaging with overarching brand strategy and marketing goals.
- Ensure consistency in voice and tone across all content, reflecting My Code’s ethos and commitment to authenticity.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for innovative content ideas that engage B2B audiences.
Measuring Success
- Analyze the performance of content initiatives using metrics like engagement rates, downloads, and lead generation.
- Iterate and refine content strategies based on performance insights.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in copywriting, preferably in B2B marketing, media, or advertising industries.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Strong understanding of multicultural marketing and diverse audience engagement.
- Experience in developing thought leadership and research-based content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, SEO principles, and content performance metrics is a plus.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $30.00 – $45.00. The hourly range is determined on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography
