Job Summary

Avnet is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Brand Manager to oversee global brand governance and ensure consistent application of brand standards across all touchpoints. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of Avnet’s brand identity, managing branded assets and templates, and enabling teams worldwide through training and support.


Principal Responsibilities

Global Brand Stewardship

  • Ensure consistent upkeep and application of Avnet’s brand guidelines across all regions and departments
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for brand usage questions and approval
  • Audit and monitor brand compliance across internal and external communication
  • Understands and supports maintenance of Brand Architecture strategy

Content & Template Management

  • Identify and develop key brand content that tells the brand story (case studies, video, company presentations, web, etc.)
  • Maintain and update branded templates (PowerPoint, Word, social media, video, etc.)
  • Collaborate with creative and digital teams to evolve brand assets based on business needs
  • Manage the brand portal and ensure timely access to approved materials

Training & Enablement

  • Develop and deliver brand training sessions for internal teams and external partners
  • Create onboarding materials and toolkits to support brand adoption
  • Partner with HR and L&D to integrate brand education into employee onboarding

Campaign & Program Management

  • Define and implement brand campaigns and programs (which may include multi-channel campaigns, internal events, brand training, and more)
  • Track campaign performance and optimize based on engagement and feedback
  • Maintain and update company store

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, communications, design, legal, and regional teams
  • Support campaign and content development with brand guidance
  • Provide input on co-branding and partner brand integration

Governance & Reporting

  • Track brand usage metrics and identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare quarterly reports on brand compliance and training impact
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in brand management

Brand Representation & Event Engagement

  • Act as a brand ambassador at internal and external events, including those held outside standard business hours
  • Represent Avnet’s brand with professionalism and enthusiasm across diverse audiences
  • Flexibility to attend key activations, trade shows, and other events as needed

Job Level Specifications:

  • Strong understanding of brand systems, visual identity, and messaging frameworks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with brand portals, digital asset management, and training platforms
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive brand consistency Experience working with international teams and navigating cultural nuances
  • Familiarity with supply chain, engineering, or technology sectors
  • Passion for storytelling, design, and brand building

Work Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in brand management, preferably in a global B2B environment

Education And Certification(s)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field
