Piper Companies is searching for a Customer Experience Associate to join a leading self-publishing and print-on-demand platform based in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area. The ideal Customer Experience Associate will have customer support experience and familiarity with helpdesk tools. This position is a remote 3-month contract, starting in October 2025 and ending in January 2026.

It is mandatory that the first week of training is on-site in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area.

Responsibilities of the Customer Experience Associate:

  • Assisting customers with locating orders, navigating the website, and resolving billing inquiries.
  • Providing timely and empathetic support across multiple channels (chat, email, phone).
  • Meeting performance metrics including number of tickets resolved, customer satisfaction scores, and response time targets.

Qualifications for the Customer Experience Associate:

  • Minimum 1 year of customer support experience; SaaS industry experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with helpdesk tools such as FreshDesk or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional written communication skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Must be available to work onsite in the RDU area for the first week of training.
  • Contract position running from October 6th to January 30th.

Compensation for the Customer Experience Associate:

  • Salary Range: $18/hr – $20/hr
