Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience creating and executing social media and digital marketing efforts including: FB/ IG ads & email marketing.
  • Understanding of local SEO and PPC ads
  • Experience required with building social media accounts from the ground up.
  • Experience leading and executing email marketing strategies.
  • Basic knowledge of Massachusetts geography and destinations.
  • Start-up experience or experience in the Tourism Industry is preferred.

 

Skills:

  • Technical proficiency in executing social media marketing campaigns on Instagram, Facebook & Tik Tok
  • Experience using Canva and/or Adobe.
  • Experience using Mailchimp, Constant Contact or similar.
  • Proficient in iPhone & Go-Pro Photography & Videography
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Comfortable engaging with high-level leaders, customers, and tour guides.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

Digital Marketing Campaigns

  • Develop and foster a strong social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Responsible for developing and executing a social media content calendar.
  • Act as the main point of contact for our contracted marketing agency that handles SEO/ Google Ads & PPC Campaigns.
  • Managing budgets as it relates to ad campaigns
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
  • Occasional weekend travel within the state to tours and events for content creation.

Email Marketing

  • Craft and execute email newsletters and marketing campaigns, encompassing monthly newsletters, promotional outreach, and periodic feedback requests.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Director of Operations include occasional aid with responding to customer service emails.

Website Content Development

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of content on the website.
  • Assist the Director of Operations with building tours on the platform as needed.
