Position Summary
The Digital Marketing intern will work to continuously improve our global website and other online marketing channels in collaboration with Banner’s Content Strategy and Web Development teams. This internship will be onsite at our Plymouth, MN headquarters location running May – August 2025. Hours expected are between 30-40 per week.
This position reports to the Senior Digital and Content Strategy Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify underperforming web content and recommend improvements for SEO and user experience
- Work with data analytics tools on product pages and recommend improvements for usability
- Develop a plan to turn user account area into a “Partner Portal”
- Reduce page gap, using the English site as the master, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all global sites
- Review internal search statistics and makes recommendations for adding banners to specific search queries to highlight new technologies or cross-sell related products
- Update and maintain email marketing contact lists
- Analyze and report on social medial channel performance; create new global social media showcase pages for regional offices & employee advocacy posts
- Support the Content Marketing team, including daily administrative tasks
- Conduct competitive research and analysis work

Required
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Tech savvy with a strong ability to quickly learn new digital platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
- 2 years of experience using a digital platform
