Job Description
As part of Business Area Replacement Tires Americas Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with our six markets in the Americas to roll out, maintain, and optimize consumer-facing digital, online solutions and marketing tools in collaboration with the markets and external partners. They are able to enrich these processes and add value by ensuring and contributing to ongoing monitoring and benchmarking of competition and trends in the Social/Digital landscape which are regularly exchanged with collaborators in the markets.
Digital Marketing Americas
- Understands, supports, acts as a sounding board & provides inputs to the markets in BA Americas (Canada, USA, MX & South America) to orchestrate and develop Digital Marketing plans & actions
- Evaluates various market maturity levels and supports them in developing efforts to advance our digital marketing efforts aligned to business goals
- Identify opportunities for collaboration & optimization across markets on digital media, content creation etc.
- Leverage various digital marketing platforms to maximize marketing campaigns effectiveness through data analysis, benchmarking and drive measurable results
Domain Management
- Responsible for strategic as well as administrative decisions regarding URL within Americas business area & is point of contact to service provider (CSC Global) Interface to the Group Cybersecurity when it comes to DNS and certificate
Tools & Analytics
- Ensures awareness, training, and optimization of available analytics tools at Continental (e.g., Google Analytics, dashboards, Semrush reports, Mouseflow, What’s App, etc.)
- Continental Content Cloud (CCC) technical KU. System responsibility for CCC. Ticket management
- Conduct keyword research, optimize website content, and implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings
- Represents Americas in global councils (SEN, Tires Online Relations)
- Leads the Americas social media bi-monthly community meetings and represents the region in various global tire sector topics in the Digital marketing space
BA Marketing Team
- AMplify (Americas Quarterly Marketing Newsletter) – Curates content from the markets to design and produce the quarterly marketing newsletter and continuous improvement
- Business and project management support to Head of Marketing BA AM
- Supports with BA Marketing team events, BA meetings, Tire Sector Executive visits (planning, participation, organization ) and other team engagement areas
Website Management
- Responsible for managing the implementation, rollout, and further enhancements of all Americas’ websites within the Content Management System (CMS)
- CMS Key User for Americas RE, responsibility includes training and daily operational support for the markets in CMS (BMC Helix ticketing, Jira ticketing, Admin)
- Manages key internal and external interfaces with partners related to websites and tools (eBusiness and Communications teams) and fosters collaboration with the markets and relevant contact partners in the Americas BA
- Partners with markets to implement new or optimize existing website solutions/applications (e.g., Tire Finder, Dealer Locator, Campaigns, Newsletters) based on either available global ‘toolbox’ or newly designed concepts to fit market needs
- Develops KPIs & dashboards to monitor performance, analytics & fosters best practice-sharing
Qualifications
BASIC:
- Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communication, Business or related fields
- 7+ years of experience in Marketing with focus on digital website management, digital marketing, content development or social media
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools and platforms
- Expertise in Digital paid media, Programmatic, Website CMS
- Advanced understanding of SEO/SEM digital metrics & Project management experience
- Proficiency in Marketing Automation, MS Office, InDesign, Adobe, HubSpot etc.
- Continental is able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity

PREFERRED:
- Experience working in a global matrix organization
- Multi-lingual in Spanish or Portuguese
- Certification in digital marketing
- 10+ years of experience in Marketing with focus on digital website management, digital marketing, content development or social media
- Automotive or Tire industry experience
