Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist will support the Marketing Director in developing and implementing the company’s web-based marketing strategy. This role will manage our online database (Spothopper) for all 13 concepts, ensuring that all information is current and accurate. Responsibilities include scheduling photoshoots and videoshoots for each restaurant, maintaining communication with General Managers, submitting website edits to our Spothopper support representative, implementing SEO strategies, creating and designing email blasts, and more.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Database Management: Oversee and update the online database (Spothopper) for all 13 concepts to ensure all information is accurate and up to date.
- Content Creation: Schedule and coordinate photoshoots (2) and videoshoots (1) for each restaurant annually.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with General Managers to ensure digital marketing needs are met and information is current.
- Website Management: Submit website edits to our Spothopper support representative and ensure active promotions and campaigns are represented on the website(s).
- SEO Implementation: Develop and execute SEO strategies to enhance the company’s online presence.
- Email Marketing: Create and design email blasts to promote the company’s brand and drive sales.
- Collaboration: Work with web development and design teams to provide guidance on marketing-related aspects of the company’s web presence.
- Campaign Management: Draft, implement, maintain, and revise online marketing campaigns to drive sales and revenue.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated with trends and developments in online marketing.
- Budgeting: Assist with budget preparation for the marketing department.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Experience
- Extensive knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to plan and implement marketing campaigns.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in HTML and web design.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Design experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required.
- One to three years of related experience preferred.
- Hospitality experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
