As a Director, Brand Communications, you will be protecting and elevating Hilton’s reputation, driving brand and consumer communications, inspiring and engaging Team Members, and connecting owners and other partners with Hilton’s purpose and business goals. On the Consumer and Commercial Communications team reporting to the Senior Director, Brand Communications, you will lead communications and public relations strategy and tactics that support and enhance the image of Hilton’s portfolio of Focused Service brands (Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton by Hilton, Tru by Hilton, Spark by Hilton) and All Suites brands (Embassy Suites by Hilton, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Home2 Suites by Hilton, LivSmart Studios by Hilton).

How You Will Make An Impact

What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like
- Lead global brand communications strategy for industry-leading brands across the Focused Service and All Suites categories
- Deliver fully coordinated PR plans, in partnership with cross-functional teams, geared toward consumer, trade and business media, and internal audiences
- Develop communications strategy around important brand initiatives and differentiators (e.g. Food & Beverage, design, growth)
- Craft compelling story angles and content that incite coverage of Hilton’s Focused Service and All Suites brands
How You Will Collaborate With Others
- You will serve as the primary contact for media inquiries/interviews with brand spokespeople
- You will be a trusted advisor to brand leadership, and collaborate across the enterprise to ensure global alignment of communications planning and execution
- You will develop and manage team members
- You will manage and partner with the PR agency
What Deliverables You Will Take Ownership Of
- You will collaborate closely with the Global Communications and Brand Marketing teams to develop integrated PR plans and implement, optimize, and measure the impact of the plans.
WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT
You Have These Minimum Qualifications
- Ten (10) years of work experience in Communications, Public Relations, Media Relations or Journalism
- Two (2) years of people leader experience
- Travel up to 25% (if applicable)
It Would Be Useful If You Have
- Experience in travel, hospitality or event marketing, and/or entertainment communications experience
- Experience working in a large, global, corporate, and matrixed environment
- Experience working at a public relations agency
