We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Content Strategy with unique talents for content strategy, complex navigation design, UX , project scoping and team management. This senior member of our Experience team will lead our Content Strategy practice and work closely with our Digital Strategy, UX , and UI teams responsible for crafting intuitive and efficient digital experiences through strategic planning, organization, and implementation of best practices and standards.

Your Day to Day

  • Provide content strategy leadership on digital experience projects and manage, mentor and lead members of the content strategy team
  • Conduct r esearch and understand business objectives, user needs, technology, and competitive analysis
  • Analyze content strategy approaches and recommend strategies, interactions, or approaches
  • Lead the creation of IA, card sorting, navigation review and sitemap creation as well as best practices for content strategy and content schema creation
  • Collaboration with the account team and client on project objectives and deliverables
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define and develop content and user strategy
  • Assist in the management of client expectations throughout project lifecycle to ensure consistency and quality in experience design deliverables
  • Oversee multiple projects and ensure content strategy tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Assist in client presentations to create buy-in for recommended strategies and solutions
  • Receive client feedback, evaluate and recommend refinements and help resolve issues
  • Assist in new business development meetings and pitches
  • Provide level-of-effort and time estimates for project deliverables to assist account service team

What You Bring

  • 10+ years’ experience creating content strategies across multiple channels and platforms such as websites, mobile apps, web applications, microsites, social media, or email
  • Experience working for a digital services company preferred
  • Understanding of digital ecosystem, digital marketing programs, how digital properties or products fit into a marketing strategy
  • Ability to use analytics to inform user research and recommendations
  • Aptitude for understanding complex subject matters preferred; ability to quickly grasp core ideas of varied and complex topics required
  • Ability to handle competing and/or tight deadlines, great organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • External client experience and presentation skills required
  • Excellent communication skills essential
