Role

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Director, Marketing Communications & Public Relations to join Aman at Sea in shaping the global presence of our ultra-luxury brand. As a passionate ambassador for Aman, you will lead the planning, development, and execution of marketing and PR strategies that bring the essence of Aman at Sea to life—building awareness, cultivating partnerships, and strengthening our reputation in the global luxury travel market.


Reporting to the SVP, Sales, Marketing & Reservations, this high-impact role requires both creative vision and commercial acumen. You will collaborate closely with Aman’s global communications, brand, sales, and reservations teams, driving campaigns that resonate with discerning audiences, elevate brand positioning, and deliver measurable results. This is an opportunity to define the voice of Aman at Sea, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the elegance, discretion, and authenticity that are hallmarks of our brand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies and communication plans to build brand awareness and positioning for Aman at Sea.
  • Collaborate with Aman’s global brand marketing and communications teams to create strategic partnerships and high-impact campaigns.
  • Oversee the execution of advertising, media, and content initiatives, ensuring alignment with Aman’s brand standards.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal departments, partners, and third parties to deliver marketing initiatives on time and to the highest standard.
  • Support global PR efforts, including media outreach, press kits, crisis communications, interviews, and site visits.
  • Oversee the development of creative assets such as campaign copy, brochures, advertising, email communications, and branded collateral.
  • Partner with Sales and Reservations teams to craft impactful communication templates, training materials, and event support.
  • Manage market research, monitor competitor activity, and provide insights to guide strategy and positioning.
  • Direct the review process for agreements and marketing contracts in collaboration with Legal.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and strong ROI.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
  • Represent Aman at Sea with professionalism and passion across global media, trade, and industry platforms.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
  • Five to ten years of marketing experience in consumer advertising, promotions, or brand management—experience within cruise, hospitality, or luxury travel is a strong advantage.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with strong copywriting and editing abilities.
  • Highly collaborative and skilled at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in managing budgets, contracts, and supplier partnerships with fiscal responsibility.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including advanced PowerPoint) and familiar with creative and graphics tools.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, inspiring and motivating teams while delivering measurable results.
  • Adaptable, comfortable working in a matrix environment, and willing to support non-standard hours and occasional travel.
