Overview

We are looking for a Director of Brand & Communications to serve as the chief creative and storyteller for our products and brand. You will be responsible for creating and evangelizing our story across all channels. You will play an instrumental role in shaping, evolving, and elevating our brand to a fully integrated, purpose-led brand with a strong personality and identity. Responsibilities

  • Develop, oversee, and evangelize a comprehensive brand strategy for MarcoPolo, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee PR, communications and thought leadership content.
  • Develop and manage integrated marketing and advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness and reach target customer segments.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging, on-brand collateral for print, digital, social media, and other promotional materials.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our visual identity and how we visually represent our brand everywhere.
  • Support strategy and planning for conferences and events, including pre-and post-event campaigns, coordination of marketing collateral, etc. to maximize brand visibility.
  • Advocate for and look after design consistency and cohesion across the company via maintaining a brand style guide.
  • Develop and manage KPIs that are tied to overall marketing and business goals, with a focus on brand awareness, customer engagement and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in developing and executing brand & communications
  • Success driving brand strategy and effective multi-channel brand campaigns
  • Being well-informed about industry trends, tools and evolving best innovative practices in brand strategy and content creation
  • Demonstrated ability and passion for creating impactful, consistent storytelling through multi-channel campaigns across all mediums, including websites, landing pages, blogs, press releases/media coverage, event presentation decks, email and social media.
  • Experience in building and managing internal and external teams successfully in a fast growing company
  • Experience developing a compelling brand narrative that drove affinity and revenue, and an understanding of how to build a brand from the ground up.
  • You excel at creating structure from chaos and synthesizing and distilling complex information into clear, concise stories designed for different audiences.
  • You’re genuinely excited about MarcoPolo and our story and feel energized at the thought of bringing our story to market.
