Sapiens is looking for a high-performance Director of Marketing to develop and execute a strategic marketing plan and to spearhead the marketing activities for the company in North America. This role will support the growth and profitability of key regional market segments in line with the business objectives.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is growth-minded and passionate about leading the marketing activities for a solution portfolio by working closely across the marketing, sales, and product teams to promote lead generation and create cross-sell/sell opportunities.

The position requires a deep understanding of marketing, of the U.S. financial services market, preferably of the Property & Casualty and/or Life & Annuity insurance markets. This individual is expected to serve as a focal point for all marketing activities at a regional level & develop robust knowledge of all product lines/services.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand market challenges to accurately position our technology solutions for high impact and optimal results.
- Understand competitor strengths, weaknesses, and market trends.
- Use market insights to develop buying personas, create commercial messaging, enable sales, and develop go-to-market strategies to sell product offerings
- Execute successful integrated marketing campaigns across all channels with tight linkages to sales.
- Work together with sales, product leads, and corporate teams to develop, plan, and campaigns, which may include (but are not limited to) webinars, whitepapers, eBooks, infographics, speaking opportunities, customer / prospect activities, testimonials, web / blog content, etc.
- Spearhead a content, thought leadership, and media strategy to support the marketing efforts planned. Lead all aspects of content creation, development, and delivery to drive increased market awareness and lead generation.
- Analyze results and know when to pivot
- Assist with the planning and execution of industry tradeshows, executive conferences, and customer events.
- Enable sales and customer success teams with promotional marketing assets and presentations to advance sales cycle
- Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of marketing activity and adjust marketing plans accordingly.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
Requirements
- At least ten (10)years of experience in similar roles with leading high-tech companies; must-have background in the Insurance/Financial Services sector and B2B experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills in leading and interworking with remote teams.
- Excellent presentation development and PowerPoint skills
- Proven track record in creating and implementing successful strategies to generate market demand.
- Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, pro-active and enthusiastic, while also maintaining a very “hands-on” approach.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms. Understanding Marketo, HubSpot and Salesforce.com a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
