YOUR ROLE

 

As GivePower’s Director of Marketing, you’ll be instrumental in creating a strategy for engaging donors and partners in our mission by capturing and telling compelling stories that communicate GivePower’s impact. You’ll help develop a cadence and strategy for sharing powerful content via video, newsletters, websites, events, awards, promotional items and more. The successful candidate is a master at summarizing complex information into powerful presentations with expert writing skills and use of graphics. You’ll work directly with decision-makers inside and outside of the GivePower team. Your proactive organizational skills and attention to detail are greatly valued by others. As a key ambassador for our organization, you’ll develop and share a deep understanding of our work stimulating the passion in others to join us in serving those in need around the world.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the fundraising team to assist in creating and managing strong relationships with GivePower’s donors
  • Develop and implement a coordinated content deployment strategy that ensures accuracy and timeliness of information
  • Ensure communications are integrated across email, social, and web properties
  • Coordinate all external and internal communication and marketing materials with respective departments to ensure proper preapprovals are secured
  • In partnership with the Sr Producer, Marketing Operations, prioritize various team members’ requests preparing project execution plans that outline and meet deadlines
  • Conceive, write and oversee the graphic design of powerful presentation decks and other assets
  • Represent GivePower in a professional, authentic and timely way with all stakeholders
  • Partner with leadership team members and vendors to support GivePower’s participation in trade shows, speaking engagements, etc.
  • Identify, recommend and prepare applications for pertinent awards
  • Complete additional tasks, as needed

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a marketing manager, nonprofit experience preferred
  • Strong skills in Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word and Excel; Slack a plus
  • Experience in sales, business development or fundraising
  • Strong work ethic with ability to be productive in a remote work environment
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on key priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills while having the ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Demonstrated command of all social media technology and operation
  • Positive attitude with professional, engaging demeanor and mature sense of discretion

Base salary: $90,000 – $110,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.
