We are looking for a Director of Marketing based in Minnetonka, MN with an in-office expectation of four days per week. This role requires 7+ years of experience, including proven success leading a marketing team and owning strategy within an agency or similar client-facing environment. This is not a step-up role. You have done this before. You know how to lead a team, drive strategy, and be accountable for results.

This role reports to the VP of Operations and plays a critical role in shaping the future of Perrill’s marketing services.

Role Overview

The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the marketing and client services teams and setting the strategic direction for client success. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on accountability, takes initiative, and knows how to translate business goals into marketing strategies that perform. You will lead, coach, and challenge the team while also stepping in on key accounts to ensure excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and lead marketing strategy across Perrill’s client portfolio, ensuring work aligns with client goals
  • Lead and develop the marketing and client services teams setting clear expectations and holding team members accountable to performance and quality
  • Ensure consistency and excellence in all marketing deliverables across services
  • Act as a key leader within the organization, contributing to company strategy and advocating for continued growth of the marketing function
  • Step into key accounts as a senior strategist, providing guidance on content, messaging, and campaign direction
  • Accurately scope marketing retainers and website projects, supporting sales efforts with strategic insight and confidence

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Deep expertise across digital marketing channels including SEO, GEO, Paid Media, Email/Marketing Automation, Content and Copywriting, and Social Media. Ability to connect strategy to business outcomes

Salary: $125,000 to $150,000, depending on experience
