Director of Marketing | New Orleans

Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of CMP and IH Marketing Leaders
- Interview, hire and train employees
- Motivate, reward and provide disciplinary action when necessary
- Resolve issues pertaining to tour statuses, bookings, coding and etc.
- Maintain copies of invitations and daily tour manifests for reference purposes.
- Prepare daily and weekly status reports to be submitted in a timely manner for corporate deadlines.
- Coordinate with In-House and Front Line sales management in regards to tour allotments and potential tour flow.
- Ensure any pertinent information related to Marketing is properly and timely disseminated.
- Coordinate with sales regarding new/changes in marketing programs (booking/gifting policies).
- Maintain an above average conversion rate of resort occupancy while maintaining an excellent owner experience
- Coordinate and partner with other departments including sales, resorts, corporate/regional marketing, human resources, business operations, training and recruiting.
- Submit employee payroll in timely manner.
- Perform other related functions not listed.
Education And/Or Experience Requirements
- NOTE: This position has the ability to be a “Director in Training” role if the minimum experience requirements are not met. Industry professionals are encouraged to apply to learn more!
- 2+ years timeshare Marketing Manager experience preferred
- Must have Wyndham Marketing experience
- Club Elite recipient highly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Ability to effectively coach, counsel and motivate direct reports
- Working knowledge of marketing databases
- Ability to recruit, train and develop employees
- Ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
- Bachelors Degree in related field preferred, High School or equivalent required
