TITLE: Director of Marketing

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Sales

DEPARTMENT: Marketing

EXEMPTION STATUS: Full-Time, Salary Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for researching, defining, and executing the company’s strategic direction across all market segments. This includes overseeing all marketing initiatives related to products, services, customers, and community engagement. The role also manages the design, content, and upkeep of the company website and ensures effective use of social media platforms to support brand visibility and growth.

Primary Duties & Responsibilites

  • Develop and execute annual marketing strategies, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans to drive business growth.
  • Lead market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to inform branding, product development, and campaign initiatives.
  • Oversee the full product portfolio, including life cycle management, new product development, and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Direct all marketing communications, including public relations, social media, advertising, trade shows, website management, and sales enablement tools.
  • Provide leadership to the marketing team, mentoring staff and ensuring alignment with client needs, revenue opportunities, and company objectives.
  • Manage the execution and evaluation of marketing campaigns, translating data and performance metrics into actionable strategies for continued improvement.

Minimum Requirments

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

Skills Requiered

  • Proven leadership and senior marketing experience, including campaign creation, team management, and decision-making.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to perform financial analysis, manage budgets, and apply data-driven insights.
  • Expertise in sales, product development, digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to handle critical issues and inspire high-performing teams.

Working Conditions

  • The position typically functions in a standard office environment with minimal discomfort from temperature changes, dust, or noise.
  • Work requires periodic concentration on figures, paperwork, and data, and may be occasionally affected by distractions such as phone calls or interactions with colleagues.
  • The role may involve pressures related to deadlines, campaign results, and management of multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, conferences, trade shows, or other business-related events.
