Seer is a remote first agency and Certified B-Corp with team members working across the country. If an office environment is more your style, this position can also sit in Philadelphia or San Diego.
What about you? As a seasoned and strategic Director of Marketing, you will bring your strong leadership chops and extensive hands-on experience in a startup and/or agency environment. In this role, you will lead and execute marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, foster lead generation, and bolster sales revenue. Your responsibilities include crafting and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies for our internal divisions, offering agency-level innovation, and utilizing data-driven approaches to advance our business objectives.
Your role is responsible for developing Seer’s annual marketing plan and designing and supervising Seer’s organic social media, thought leadership strategy, and content strategy. You have a successful track record in generating Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) for startups, agencies or tech/software-enabled consultancies through creative and impactful marketing tactics, both evergreen and campaign-based. You’re used to being hands on and leading from the front!
Beyond your technical and strategic expertise, your strength lies in your exceptional leadership and strategic executive communication skills. You have the rare ability to focus on minute details while keeping a firm grasp on the overarching goals. As a visionary leader and precise operator, you are a catalyst for change and a powerful influencer, adept at shaping the future trajectory of our Marketing Department.

Your Compensation And Benefits Will Look Like…
- $140,000-$150,000 / year. Your final offered compensation will be determined based on your skills and experience

Here are some highlights of what you’ll be doing…
- As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the EVP of Business Strategy, you will spearhead the Marketing function for the agency. This includes owning and optimizing all channels and tactics that contribute to Seer’s comprehensive marketing strategy
- You will be responsible for building upon the current marketing strategy, identifying opportunities for enhancements and team growth. This includes facilitating the ongoing development and deployment of Seer’s Unique Value Proposition (UVP) through our activations, relaunching our website for optimization, and leading your team to capitalize on these opportunities
- You will manage Seer’s social media channels and Marketing Newsletter, setting the tone for the brand’s voice, and ensuring a consistent and impactful online presence
- In collaboration with our Creative Division and leveraging your background in SEO, you will develop and implement a robust brand and content strategy to enhance engagement within our target audiences, leading to increased lead generation and conversions
- With a strong test mindset and experience in hypothesis testing, you will collaborate with our Business Development, Creative Services, SEO, and Analytics & Insights Divisions to continually optimize our website, implementing solutions that effectively generate MQLs
- Collaborating closely with the Business Development division, you will synchronize marketing and sales objectives, overseeing lead generation and employing data from tools like Google Analytics and Hubspot. This approach ensures robust full-funnel reporting and strategy development that enhances both traffic and engagement, as well as sales alignment
- As the owner of the Marketing budget, you will actively engage in the annual budget development process alongside the Seer Executive Team, ensuring resources are allocated for maximum impact
- As a hands-on mentor for your team, you will set performance expectations and success metrics, foster a culture of feedback, growth, and learning, and lead by example in thought leadership by representing Seer Interactive at industry events and conferences. You will manage Seer’s Sales Development Rep, and will help them formulate and optimize email outreach tactics

- You’ve developed and executed innovative and holistic marketing strategies, brand development and management that have elevated brand positioning and driven business growth, while ensuring consistency across all channels, including robust social media channel management
- You have SEO practitioner experience and understand digital marketing. You have experience leading overall digital marketing efforts including SEO, PPC, Paid Social, organic social media, email marketing, and content marketing
- Your creative expertise ignites engaging marketing activations, including co-branding, webinars, and lead generation events. You’ve worked closely with sales teams to develop effective lead nurturing strategies and have experience building a marketing strategy and team from the ground up in an agency or startup environment
- You’re client obsessed, and view marketing as a way to help your clients win for their brands with Seer’s solutions. You have optimized websites to aid in lead generation, and have a proven track record of bringing new brands into the sales pipeline with top-and mid-funnel marketing activation strategies and campaigns
- You won’t run it if you can’t measure it. You utilize data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, iterate, and make data-backed recommendations. You own and regularly report on Marketing KPIs to Senior Leadership
- You have extensive expertise in both deploying a wide array of marketing automation, research tools like Hubspot, CRM systems, and GA4, as well as cutting-edge AI and automation technologies such as ChatGPT4 and Zapier. Your skill in harnessing these tools enables you to extract valuable insights, streamline marketing efforts, and drive the generation of high-quality MQLs, all while fostering innovation and efficiency in content and campaign strategies
- You have managed a $500k+ annual marketing budget and have experience building ROI business cases to secure funding for marketing initiatives, demonstrating a strong leadership presence in financial decision-making
- You’ve built and led high performing marketing teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. You’ve fostered a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity, excellence and a strong test-and-learn mindset
- You are committed to maintaining a competitive edge in the marketing field, continually educating yourself on the latest trends, tools, technologies, AI innovations, and best practices, while also leveraging your experience with agency thought leaders or influencers to maximize their exposure, drive awareness, and enhance brand engagement
