We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing Director to lead the marketing efforts for our utility-scale solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) operations. Based in our Bozeman, MT office, this is a unique opportunity for a solo marketing professional to build a robust marketing function from the ground up. You’ll define and execute strategies that drive brand awareness, support business development, and position our company as a leader in renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development & Execution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to support business goals in the utility-scale solar EPC industry.
- Identify market trends and opportunities to position the company competitively.
- Brand Development:
- Shape the brand’s identity and establish it as a trusted leader in renewable energy.
- Create compelling messaging and visual storytelling across all platforms.
- Content Creation:
- Design, develop, and manage marketing collateral, including brochures, case studies, proposals, and digital content.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to showcase project successes and technical expertise.
- Digital Marketing:
- Manage website content and performance to drive engagement and lead generation.
- Oversee SEO, social media, email campaigns, and analytics to optimize marketing initiatives.
- Business Development Support:
- Partner with the sales team to create impactful presentations and proposals.
- Conduct market research to support strategic business decisions.
- Department Growth:
- Build the marketing function and department as the business grows, identifying needs and hiring additional team members.
- Develop processes and tools to streamline marketing operations and ensure scalability.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- 5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong preference for experience in renewable energy, construction, or related industries.
- Proven ability to execute marketing initiatives as a solo practitioner.
- Skills:
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
- Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and design software.
- Experience managing projects end-to-end with minimal supervision.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
