We’re looking for a visionary Director of Marketing who can amplify our brand’s voice and elevate our market presence. Activities & Responsibilities

  • Lead and cultivate a dynamic team of professionals, each specializing in diverse facets of digital and print marketing, public relations, and external partnership management
  • Ensure ABI’s brand is communicated to all constituencies, both internal and external, all of which are tied directly to ABI’s mission, vision, and strategic plan
  • Develops marketing staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities
  • Oversee project management functions for Marketing Team, utilizing appropriate software for initiating and maintaining accurate information and complete project requests, resource allocation, project scheduling, workflow, tracking and reporting
  • Oversee marketing planning and research, guiding the creation and implementation of advertising initiatives, and monitors industry competition, trends, and messaging, developing strategies to maintain a competitive edge
  • Oversee and manage marketing budget, allocate and invest funds while tracking ROI
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, dealers, and industry partners
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team on brand initiatives, developing, and implementing the Brand strategy
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team in brainstorming opportunities, process improvements, team training, optimal performance standards, and investment recommendations
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to align marketing strategies with sales objectives
  • Offer expert advice to develop innovative advertising, public relations, social media and events
  • Maintains marketing staff by assisting Human Resources in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Manage agency providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management

  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and applications
  • Must be self-motivated as well as able and willing to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Affinity for and/or experience with agriculture, sports turf, and property management industries, along with equipment operation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
  • Developed ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems.
  • Must have unwavering integrity and positivity.
  • Must be emotionally intelligent, a humble contributor to group goals and company needs.
  • Must be a self-motivated and driven learner with a desire to grow and be developed.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of creative direction experience
  • Minimum 10+ years experience managing others
  • Minimum 10+ years proven marketing executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets

Physical Requirements

  • Must have the ability to stand, sit, and see a screen eight hours of the workday.
  • Ability to operate keyboard and view computer screen for eight hours of the workday.
  • Must have the ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be willing to work full-time, in-house.
  • Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
  • Ability to talk or hear to communicate with others via phone, in-person, and/or computer.
  • Ability to listen to customers/vendors/colleagues, problem solve, and respond accordingly.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Environmental Conditions & Travel

  • The employee is exposed to an office environment with moderate noise as well as warehouse and manufacturing environments with moderate noise.
  • The employee is required to wear suitable Personal Protective Equipment while working in the warehouse or manufacturing environments.
  • Travel: Less than 5%.
