The Butcher’s Daughter
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Spearhead a cohesive annual marketing plan aligned with overall business objectives and market research.
- Develop brand positioning and market opportunity through clear storytelling and intentional creative choices across consumer-facing channels, including but not limited to website, social media, press, and OOH
- Develop clear marketing strategies and calendar to drive continued brand awareness, customer loyalty, support new openings and hit revenue goals
- Evaluate and execute brand-aligned partnerships and experiences to support revenue goals, awareness, brand affinity, and product launches
- Analyze business performance and changing market dynamics to inform strategic pivots.
- Continuously audit existing marketing channels and offer solutions for optimization and efficiency (newsletter, organic social, paid social, website)
- Build brand experiences, events, and promotions to drive sales.
- Employ authentic influencer program to build audience and engagement
- Build and update brand books and internal marketing materials with support of small team
- Oversee and guide digital marketing (website, content, SEO, SEM, social media, email), evaluating performance and identifying needs and opportunities.
- Manage part time staff & contributors to assist with postings and engagement
- Create social media content calendar to help drive unit based initiatives.
- Manage media relations and partnerships with PR agency.
- Develop guest experience strategies and make improvements based on guest feedback.
- Drive development of messaging, branding, collateral, and photography, and ensure consistency across touchpoints.
- Oversee and maintain The Butcher’s Daughter customer database.
- Maintain relationships and communication with key partners across the organization to build alignment.
- Implement new channels with incremental revenue opportunity if available
- Schedule photographers, create shot list and manage all aspects of photo and video shoots.
- Curate images for websites, decks, and various publications.
- Conduct marketing calls, prepare marketing briefs, and produce routine reporting for leadership team & Stakeholders
- Build and deliver best-in-class tools for workflow and monthly reporting as needed ie: multi-channel marketing calendar, e-commerce reporting, organic social reporting
- Create and manage marketing budget and P&L
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in Director of Marketing role.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically on multiple projects
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes
- Excellent communicator and pro-active about sharing plans and results
- Critical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills
- Natural leader who displays strong decision-making and attention to detail
- Natural leader who can work efficiently, passionately and with kindness
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- This role is onsite, offsite and mobile
- Ability to work remotely from different locations
- Must be able to comply with all restaurant guidelines
