Position Overview
We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Email Marketing Lead to join our team and take our email marketing program to the next level. This is a new role focused on building, optimizing, and reporting on email campaigns that engage our customers and drive measurable results. You’ll be hands-on in our email service provider (ESP), working on everything from segmentation and personalization to campaign QA and post-send analysis.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and brings both creative and analytical skills to the table. You’ll partner closely with our creative team as well as our CRM Marketing Manager and Marketing Segmentation Manager to bring dynamic, on-brand campaigns to life and help us scale our email program with precision and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and deploy email campaigns using drag and drop functionality and HTML
- Implement segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content to target email content to select audiences to create relevant, targeted experiences
- Assist with A/B and multivariate testing including test setup and results analysis
- Process all creative and image uploading for email assets through our content management system while working closely with our graphic design partners for content needs/edits.
- Own the email testing and approval process prior to deployment
- Track and analyze campaign performance metrics (open rate, click-through, conversion, revenue, etc) and create regular reporting dashboards
- Present actionable insights to the email marketing team and recommend optimization strategies
- Work closely with CRM Marketing Manager to utilize proper functionalities and seek out new opportunities to maximize usage of email
- Own and optimize transactional emails, working closely with IT and related systems teams to ensure accuracy, functionality, and seamless customer experience
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of email marketing experience required
- Knowledge and understanding of email performance metrics and A/B testing
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, APIs
- Strong attention to detail
- Fast-paced, deadline-driven
- Proficient in Excel
