Zayo is seeking a skilled Email Marketing Strategist to execute agile email marketing campaigns including weekly sends, webinar invitations and follow-ups, and ongoing nurture campaigns.
Our Email Marketing Strategist will drive engagement and ensure prospects and customers receive relevant information and content throughout their sales journey. The ideal candidate will bring a strong digital marketing background, exceptional project management skills, and a proven record of generating results through email and webinars.
We’re open to this position working remotely within the United States. Preference will be given to candidates local to Austin, TX or Denver, CO, and those with the ability to work in a hybrid capacity out of Zayo’s Denver, CO office (1401 Wynkoop).
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement email campaigns, generate email copy, and support transactional emails.
- Write compelling and engaging email content that drives action and supports campaign objectives.
- Build and manage diverse email marketing campaigns, conducting A/B tests, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Own all UTM link tracking for the marketing organization.
- Ensure compliance with email best practices, legal requirements, and spam regulations.
- Analyze and optimize campaigns to boost open rates, click-through rates, and conversion.
- Collaborate with Marketing Specialist, to ensure audience lists are up to date and accurate.
- Manage nurture campaigns for lost leads, opportunities, and customers including reviewing copy and updating rules based on data analysis.
- Manage newsletter, including ensuring lists are current, images are created, updating product features.
- Work with Sales, Marketing Campaign Strategist, and other marketing teams to align lead nurturing with overall strategies.
- Manage webinar logistics, including scheduling, registration, promotion, and follow-up.
- Partner with content creators to develop engaging materials for email campaigns and webinars.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ proven experience in email marketing and webinars management
- Proficiency with email marketing automation platforms (Salesloft, Marketo, Pardot, HubSpot)
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and performance metrics
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Base Salary Range: $66,500 – $95,000 USD/annually, commensurate with experience.
