General Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting federal prime/subconsultant proposal responses for the North Central Division (KS, MO, IA, NE, OK, AR, IL, MN, WI). Develop and maintain federal marketing collateral including SF 330 proposal content, local and regional conference planning and participation, and promotional materials. Support federal marketing efforts by researching opportunities, tracking project information in Client Relationship Manager (CRM) System, and maintaining databases or collateral.

Essential Roles And Responsibilities

  • Establish relationships and strive to provide an excellent client experience for both our internal clients in operations and external clients (proposal managers, etc. from prime and sub-consultant firms).
  • Support the North Central Division federal marketing and client development teams by connecting staff and advising on best practices, providing available tools and resources, and conducting training, where needed.
  • Support federal pursuits and proposals division-wide, including working directly with external clients as either a prime or sub-consultant.
  • Utilize CRM system, working collaboratively across the division to build a pipeline of pursuits and manage recurring agreements. Use CRM to ensure federal pursuits and reoccurring agreements have marketing leadership, record activities, and bring insights and data to the team.
  • Assist with mining existing on-call and multi-year contracts for project opportunities by reaching out to teaming partner firms to check the status of upcoming work and share information with division offices.
  • Assist regional federal team leads in the development of division marketing plans, including targets, clients, actions, local events, etc., annually.
  • Partner across the marketing and communications team to ensure consistent federal strategy and messaging including internal communications, external communications (digital: social media, email campaigns), and marketing (SF 330 information, trade shows, collateral, graphic design).
  • Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
  • Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.

Requirements:

  • Federal Marketing Specialist
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, journalism, communications, marketing, or related degree.
    • 3-5 years of marketing and communications (or related) experience.
    • Instead of a degree, a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
